with a lasting interest in different cultures, premodern, modern and contem-porary art, I only deal with digital image editing in my own works. their independent technical and creative potentials now largely dominate the applied area and are added to the existing ones in the fine ar.

in series of works, I vary the predominantly self-created graphic, painterly or photographic design means in different proportions in the visually and content-wise remaining ambiguous intermediate area of ​​the real, abstract and / or imaginary, symbols and structure, composition and decomposition, general and particular, using filter combinations that have been revised several times.

In the case of numerous individual works—usually selected at different times—I move beyond mere experimentation through processes of further development, modification, or variation, carried out once or repeatedly.

despite all possible interest, comparable design means in my free works, whether coincidental or conceptual, have no intentional connection to contemporary historical and biographical conditions or identifications of other and the purposes of applied art forms.

I view the exercise of personal, independent, and self-determined freedom of art and information as a contribution to its future preservation—in a general sense—against any form of presumptuous co-optation or restriction.
